Emagination Hosts ROBLOX Computer Camp

Emagination Computer Camps, a summer camp for kids and teenagers, will be including a ROBLOX workshop this year to their existing curriculum.  The camp has been hosting technology programs for 30 years at multiple locations around the US.  This year, they will introduce a ROBLOX workshop called Build Your Imagination, which is designed to help users imagine, design and create new games.  Most workshops last a week to two weeks.

This course will help you:

  • Build with friends in a Personal Server
  • Learn about Roblox wiring components
  • Design levels with interactive wired components
  • Build interactive models
  • Create your own games with ROBLOX Studio

The ROBLOX workshop will be offered in four of the Emagination locations:

  • Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts
  • Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA
  • Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL
  • Mercer University in Atlanta, GA

The summer camp offers day and overnight camps, as well as extra curricular activity.  Click here for more information on pricing, dates and more workshops.

Is it me, or did they NOT put one in Florida? I mean, Florida is one of America’s hottest spots. (I mean that a lot of people live and visit Florida, a lot.).

I’m trying to get IDTech camps to do the same thing. Trust me, they are an AMAZING summer camp for video game creation, animation, web design and robotics. I’ve been going there for 5 years and the camp counselor know me pretty well.

They can’t because they are using a summer camp program, so they chose the destinations. They haven’t changed locations, so I don’t think they would start now…..

Interesting. Closest one to me would be the one in Lake Forest but it’s still a bit out of range for me to go ): I need help learning some of the more advanced ROBLOX building and scripting techniques.

Yay, that’s a smart idea! Now try to manage Roblox into summer school! You can BEAT Lego Robotics and jump into a subject called “Roblox LUA”, “Roblox scripting”, or something like that.

I’m not super familiar with that area , but it looks to me like the lecsost location listed on the chart is Farmington, with a date of May 1. If you tend to have similar weather to Farmington, I would use that date. You’re right on the edge of the two groups. If it is a mild winter/spring and you are excited, I would follow the yellow schedule. If it is a cold winter-spring and you are more relaxed, I would use the green schedule.

That’s nice but you should have online courses and all too because some might not be able to make it…thanks for listening. P.s. it woul be nice if no bc and everyone got bodies and all games because it said all games for free. Just sayin…
