RGC 2012 LogoWith ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 44 days away, we’re working toward finalizing a schedule of events, presentations, feature demos, challenges and more. You can now buy a ticket for just $10; the sooner you buy, the more in-game gear you receive from ROBLOX. Here’s what your ticket gets you (subject to change) at the event:

ROBLOX Game Conference Photo

R&D Computer Lab

Play ROBLOX and test out new features while chatting with the developers. Give them live feedback on your gaming and creating experiences.

Programming Sessions

Bring your laptop and sit in on programming sessions and challenges with the developers. This activity will be interactive and participatory. Wireless internet will be provided.

User Feedback Sessions

ROBLOX Staff will be taking your feedback during the day at the User Feedback Sessions. A schedule of topics will be posted, so be sure to stop by to discuss the features you care about most.

Forums and Groups Meetup Zones

Come meet your online friends and enemies in the Meetup Zone. ROBLOX will designate some general areas for forum communities and groups to find each other. Owners of large groups should consider buying a dedicated booth so they can maintain a space for the full day.

Staff and Vendor Booths

We will have a variety of booths staffed by the ROBLOX Team as well as vendors and sponsors.

Booth Types: Autographs, ROBLOX Artists at Work, Book Sales, Work at ROBLOX, ROBLOX T-shirts and other items for sale.

ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 will take place on July 14, 2012 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Doors open at 9:00 am (or earlier, TBD) | Event starts at 10:00 am
Event ends at 4:00 pm | Doors Close at 5:00pm

  5. hey roblox when u did your last studio update, one of the game that i play everday called base war the land keeps on freezing so pleaze fix it even if you look in the comments they are begging your the only one who can fix it

    The users make the games, not the ROBLOX Staff. The ROBLOX Staff makes some games, but most games on the front page are made by normal users like you and me.

  7. Okay if they wont make the RGC in other places, Shedletsky / roblox should upload footage of David’s vision,etc. Like how Shedletsky did with the terrain demo at the Rally.

  8. It’d be great if they came to GB; the olympic games are there this year and many players are from there. Please think about your foreign users, ROBLOX!

  10. Why do you always ruin all of your games roblox DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO QUIT? Because i am honestly about to i was on a game yesterday a building game and got on today and half of the building tools were broke…

  11. I’d like it if they came to the Midwest. I’m tired of all the ROBLOX things happening on the West Coast. Yes, that is where they are but travel a little; get your users feelign better about the mods/admins.

    • Dude, they put these events around (californis?) every time because there are SO many people there… If they were to put it in like, say, Arkansas, they would get a lot less visitors and a whole lot less feedback…

    • Go to somewhere in New England. I know that you’re located in California, but really, not every ROBLOX user lives in California.

    • They did that last year for,”roblox rally”. I’m sure they will be better about it this year.

      • That would be awesome, espescially for those players who live in the area, but arn’t sure weather they wanna go or not. If they watch this years conference on youtube, and decide it looks like fun, they’ll go next year!

  19. ROBLOX should make an East Coast team that collaborates with the other and both work on making ROBLOX better. Then a 2nd ROBLOX convention could be held on the East Coast. This would attract a lot more people. It might be done once ROBLOX becomes even bigger.

    • Good comment, but there should be ROBLOX teams in every country! That’ll make ROBLOX so big with more players and make the game more famous.

  29. admins of roblox ik u might not see this but i would go if i could and theres a fair by where i live every where in jasper county indiana its called the jasper county fair in around july if u see this think about going next year please

  32. I am planning on going. But going on a roadtrip from Illinois to California is quite a money issue for my parents. I hope I get to go. I’m interested in Roblox Studio 2.0

  33. They really need a live video feed. there are millions of people who play roblox and millions who wan’t to go there. but only VERY few actually can go due to location or things like that. if they had a live video feed i would certainly watch it but i doubt they would have one.

    • They won’t for the privacy of the attendees. And millions of people can’t fit into one building : /

    • Mine would be a 20 hour drive and then about 1000 dollars for a hotel. Or I could spring 2000 and fly me, my dad, and my Grandma, rent a car, and get a good hotel.

    • I HATE LIVING ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE USA FROM CALIFORNIA. if i bought tickets i’d get my virtual gear then give them to a friend living near there.
