Becky Herndon and Christina McGrath hosted the 2012 ROBLOX Hall of Fame at ROBLOX Game Conference. With the presentation now in the books, we’re sharing the winners.

In 2011, ROBLOX users created 5.4 million games, 3.1 million models, and more than 250,000 groups, just to name a few of our many startling user-generated content statistics. And already in 2012, users have created 3.8 million games. The point is, inducting users and games into our Hall of Fame for 2012 was no easy task. We solicited feedback from ROBLOX staff and users — we wanted to make sure that you guys got to choose the best and brightest with us. Once again, you, the community, delivered, with over 17,000 responses to our surveys. Check out the winners in the video below!

Way to go to the award winners,but cmon on roblox show all the generes some love better yet give and award out to each genere cuase RPG games and FPS games arent just the make up of the whole Roblox commuinity and i feel that you put to much favortisim into them all I’m saying is where the Best adventure game of the year or best sports game, but come on roblox

  12. I agree that Seranok should be user of the year. But the game of the year should have been Catalog Heaven. The best video was Comment simulator by SharpTHOLuls. That was funny.

  16. I do not agree with LunarEden’s award for Best Advertisement! I feel that there are better advertisements out there.

  17. I can respect that COr5 Waw Won.It is a amazingly put together game and i think that more then half of all robloxians thought That Lito would be a game devoloper of the year…He dezerves it!

  25. So, Roblox chose an NBC for Game of the Year? They either did this because it was rightly deserved or to prove they aren’t greedy. I think it’s the latter. BUT, CoR5 DOES deserve it.

  28. Honestly, most of the awards are based on popularity really. Some games are more well-made and fun yet not as popular. Maybe ROBLOX somehow could bring the lesser known, well-built games to the light?

  39. Some of the worst game I’ve played were nominated… That’s terrible. And the game of the year, wow, not even close to any of the best games.

    • Which one, base wars or COR?

      Both are great games anyways (though I prefer COR far more) and I’d like to see you make something so much better then the “worst games ever played.”

  48. VS may be the “most ‘active’” clan in Robloxia, but it sucks. The Mobile Bloxxers hosts the best trainings. VS trainings are an unorganized as a riot. VS should be re-named “Vortex Rioters/Corps”.

  54. Although Call of Robloxia is great, I think Modern Assault by ModernAssaultStudios (Garnold) is better but I guess it didn’t get noticed because it’s in Beta and only has around 30,000 visits.

    • Modern Assault is an awesome game, I love it too.

      But it’s still in beta. It’s not ready to rise to fame quite yet.

      When it does, though, it’ll be COD vs Battlefield again. x3

  57. Fear and rat active! vak outnumber rat and fear can only get 30 men to a raid out of 100k thats pathetic rat gets 60 jc gets 100 vc active i highly doubt that they probably saw 5 of them in each server defending around 10 raiders.

  58. Warrior Cats nominated for excellence in construction? Seriously? What about samaxis or Lance7? But anyway, I’m glad stuntman won this, it’s a shame that place isn’t popular enough.

    • I assume it was one of my games which was nominated for excellence in construction, I wish they’d be more specific than “Warrior Cats”. If it was, it was most likely my newest game which most of my fans enjoy because of the realisticness. In my own opinion, I’m glad I didn’t win because there are far better games out there, but I am glad I was nominated!

      • Actually I’m pretty sure they are. Every time my group does a raid on them (twice, but I only have proof for once) there is almost always a raid in progress and a ton of random groupless peoples running around randomly.
