We just passed the halfway mark of 2012, making it high time to look back and evaluate how much content ROBLOX users have generated and played so far this year. The graphic in this blog post shows the growth in games created, assets created (all user-generated, non-place content), game plays and game-play hours logged for the first halves of the past three years.

ROBLOX users have generated more than 3.8 million games (79% increase over H1 2011) and more than 8.2 million assets (13% increase over H1 2011) so far in 2012. Please note that games created only includes games that were modified at least seven days after creation.
On top of that, users have logged more than 424 million game plays (49% increase over H1 2011) and 123 million game-play hours (74% increase over H1 2011). Needless to say, we’re impressed with the sheer volume of user-generated games and content, and ROBLOX users are exploring it more now than ever before. Let’s see if we can make the second half of 2012 even more content-rich than the first.
I have OBC but they should make the trade system for BC and NBC to! Why only TBC and OBC? :c NBC have rights to!
NBC can rarely buy limited items. Thus why would they implement a useless feature for them?
How many games there are doesn’t matter. What matters is the overall quality of the games. When I joined in 2009, there were 1/4 of the users there are now, but most of the games were actually fun. Right now, 90% of the 4 million games being created are junk.
In game plays it is actually 425 Million it is just under, if you round its 425M not 424.
Good Job ROBLOX! I think the reason why there is such an increase in activity is that I’ve seen many more OBCers… Hiding the BC and showing the TBC and the OBC was a smart idea. As I said before. Good Job ROBLOX.

dont forget that most of the players are clicking on the game but the EROR ID=17 is always there
Error ID = 17 means that the server ended before you connected successfully so it was your computer not connecting fast enough.

May not be true. Games like RuneScape have a lot of sales also. They might be better than ROBLOX in sales, but also, ROBLOX might be better.
A lot of those play ours are most likely from clans. ROBLOX should make a sepreate graph for clans if it’s possible.
They are counting half of the games of ROBLOX that are copied.. Its hard to find the original

Their is a lot of clans out their that have popular bases all of that combined. It is just crazy. Especially with Fort Fangs visits.

Yeah, they really do. Last time, I played stickmasterluke’s Fencing game, and everything even the walls said Jonathon was here. And then when they left everything was still the same, but someone hacked again to the point that there was nothing in the game not even flooring. The only thing there was a skybox saying Jonathon and Iyumm Was here.
Trade system released but it didnt fully release yet I think it’s gonna be full in 3 days cuz its not full yet theres no trade button by a users profile inventory. BTW trade system must be for NBC since there’s no BC Game Page unless they bring it back :P

If they take away Roblox Studio im not going to be very happy. I mean yes it’s great for new users with the generation things, but many old timers still like to build and not have so much already done for them. Some might like user generation, not saying all old timers don’t like user generated technology. Please leave Roblox Studio many users are leaving. I mean at least let us vote for the updates :(

Trade System must be for everybody, not only for BC. BC/TBC/OBC can play. But NBC are whats? Tools ROBLOX use? NBC also have their own rights. If they want to make a trade system ( they already are ) so it must be for everybody.

imagine the amount if they counted that.

You are of course forgetting the amount of young children you’re teaching capitalist and consumerist qualities to subliminally; considering this userbase is obsessed with the idea that you can’t be something if you don’t have enough stuff.
Capitalism is a very good concept, actually. Without getting too far in the political meaning, Capitalism is you earn what you work for.
However, consumerism can be both good and bad. The good side of consumerism is that the capitalist who creates the assets wants to please the consumer, and thus is performing consumerism in the way to promoting the consumer’s desires. However, the bad side is that it does promote the ideology that you can’t be something if you don’t have enough stuff.
Please try to research what you say before you go talking down on things!

that we couldnt take a pirtuce or film it. its copy right. So u have to wwait until they do a video of it and sell it they selves. And i think that will take a while because its so popular and people want to see it. they might do it when they near their last showing.
