Thanks to the tireless efforts of our web and ops teams we were able to turn on the trading system for all premium members as of 9 PM on 7/12. The trading system is now in open beta testing. We will be tweaking it over the next several weeks; you may notice changes or periods of unavailability.

If you are a ROBLOX player and you are anything like me, you have been waiting for the arrival of the ROBLOX trading system since almost the dawn of time.

We know that many Builders Club members want access to the trading system *right now*; it’s great that everyone is so excited to get to play with this feature.

The good news is that the trading system is almostdone; we’ve been testing it live with a very limited pool of users and everything is looking good. The trading system is a very complicated piece of software and it is important to us to get it right, which is the reason for the limited rollout.

Once we’re confident we’ve eliminated any residual bugs, we’ll launch it for all Builders Club members. We anticipate this will be sometime in the next week.

As we stated in our sneak preview, the Trading System will allow Builders Club members to exchange limited items without needing to have cash on hand. This will make it more feasible to exchange rare and high-value items, in particular. Take a look at how it works here.

We appreciate your patience, excitement and enthusiasm, and hope that fine-tuning the system now will lead to the best possible user experience upon full-scale release.

    Besides i have an other account that has something i want so makeing that NBCv thing update would really help >.>

      • If they want more buyers, they need to start giving something to the NBC. Therefore they will purchase membership for more benefits.

  14. I think former BC members as well as NBC should get trading sytem. Why? Let’s say you’ve been playing for a long time and you really want trading sytem because you recently purchased some limiteds. A month later, you really don’t want it. So, you keep it and trading sytem comes out. You cheer, but suddenly……. You find out it’s for BC ONLY! I’ve purchased BC and TBC. I think we all deserve to trade. I know ROBLOX pay’s to run servers, but just think: If you give a cool feature to NBC, then they may buy BC. I cannot guarantee that, though. But hey, you could introduce another feature to BC’ers.

Mostly they listen to the players and do what the players request, unlike roblox that does stuff completly random, and almost NEVER care about the players. To get a lifetime premium account on MineCraft is $20-30 on the other hand for a roblox lifetime is atleast $95.00

    • Here is my oppinion when you are nbc for a year like a veteran then you get the trading system because veterans arn’t noobs and bc arn’t either makes everyone happy problem solved…

  24. I’ve been wanting a trading system for 4 years and of course, it’s BC only. I’m fine with BC getting extra features, but why something as basic as a trading system? As far as I can tell the only argument people who support this can make is “BC pays, you don’t. They deserve the extra features”.

    • Yeah that’s right bc pays so don’t be a noob trading should stay bc only cause those people PAY so support roblox and in return roblox gives them features bc people arnt cheap they spend money for the tradeing and other bonuses heres a tip just get bc! or deal without trading your lucky he lets you play at all he could make the entire game you have to have bc! butb he dosent cause he is nice enough not to some other games do that?

  26. Figures. I’ve been on since 2008 and just lost BC last month, and you chose to release this to all the BC users just as i lost my BC. This should be available to everyone, regardless of BC or not. And if not BC, then anyone who’s had BC before, or anyone who’s been on for longer then 2 years. But of course you won’t do that because it’s how you make money.

    • If you ever read the “Buy BC” page, they get BC beta features. You don’t need BC. But there are lot’s of benefits to it. And us NBCer’s must complain about every little thing. So when you think about it, the NBC are the brats. It’s the BC who pay. I must question why everyone is envious of these people! They are just like us, but they got a payed membership. That’s all. It’s not a big deal. Now go play roblox the way it was meant! Free, and fun!

Seems there are lots of complaints on here (Most of them more stupid than others) but that is only because BC people PAY to get extra stuff yes I agree ROBLOX has gone a bit overboard with the whole everything is for BC but that’s only because 99% that’s in roblox comes from new players (Newbs or Noobs) so thank them for making ROBLOX indecisive as whether he can trust EVERYBODY (NBCs) anymore.Do you know how many players get banned or warnings a day just for spam? I dont know either but I can tell its a lot.

    • As a ex-obc member, even though I’m no longer OBC but I stand for nbcers. What happens when you lose your bc? Alot of nbcers are richer than you… They deserve to trade as well but there should be a limit for them and only trade 3-5 times a month with a max of 2 per trade.

    • Yes. the stupidest idea.To buy limited items, You have to buy them from the: Private sellers. That’s the worst because the private sellers put a big price on something.

I have purchased BC about 5 times regardless of me being a former BC memeber, I think all NBC should atleast have acces to this feature and not just BC, they get free hats on purchase robux every day, they dont see ads, they can have a ton more groups their in, I mean really what else is there to give them?   58. I actually agree with all the NBC. I’m lets say a former builders club member and I think former BC’ers and NBC should recieve it as well. I know thousands of robloxians have been waiting for this, and then some NBC’ers have too. But what do you know? They don’t get it! In 2011 I purchased BC. In 2012, it expired and 2 months later I bought TBC. That expired as well, so really I think all NBC’ers deserve the ability to use the Trade System. Trust me ROBLOX, if you don’t start listening a huge amount of people will QUIT/ Leave. Just think about it. I know you pay for the servers to run, but if you give NBC some cool features then they may buy BC to recieve more features.
