ROBLOX’s Wealthiest Users: Part 1

Money Currency in ROBLOX, whether Robux or tickets, is in a constant state of movement. Our currency is bought, traded and sold at all hours of the day and night, and some of our users have found unique and creative ways to fill their ROBLOX wallets. How do we know? We reached out to the wealthiest users on ROBLOX to see if they’d care to share their methods with the community at large. Like true entrepreneurs, they were willing to share some of the secrets behind their collective success. We’ve compiled tips from some of the richest ROBLOX users out there, but we’re saving the best for last. Next week, we’ll have tips from the bar-none, top three wealthiest people on ROBLOX. For now, here are tips from four through seven.

User Merely is co-creator of the uber-popular Catalog Heaven, which has been visited over 8 million times. He has developed very specific methods for accumulating wealth utilizing Limited items. Here’s some of his insight.

“When a new Limited item is released, don’t buy it immediately. Wait a few minutes to see how quickly it sells. To get the best deal on an existing Limited item, do some research. Look in the comments to see what people have been offering, or post a thread in the ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ forum asking what the item is worth. Remember that new Limited items tend to peak for a few days, then the price falls. If you pay attention to these trends, you will know when to buy or sell your Limited item in order to make the most profit.”

Creator of Perilous Skies, one of the most popular plane simulation/dogfight games on ROBLOX, Crazyman32 has established himself as a solid game designer and creator of many popular titles. He began playing ROBLOX in 2008, after a friend showed him a fully rendered model of the Titanic on ROBLOX, then blew it up. A junior in high school, Crazyman32 is studying computer design, and has accumulated quite a bit of wealth. Here’s his advice.

“Just like in real life, there are a lot of things that people can buy, but that doesn’t mean they need to be bought. Only buy what you can afford, and make sure that what you can afford will leave you with something afterwards.

I also make VIP shirts to earn wealth–they’ve become my primary source of Robux. In order to maintain my wealth, I’ve learned to spend smartly. I don’t spend in large amounts, unless it will benefit me (like making large bids on advertisements).”

Litozinnamon is known for creating Call of Robloxia 5: Roblox At War, a game that has been played over 13 million times. You can probably infer how Lito made it to the list, though did have some additional insight.

“Pretty much all of my wealth was gained through place visits from my game–though I also earned a little through profiting from the ROBLOX Trade Currency”.

“There wasn’t any particular method I used to gain wealth–I started out with the goal of creating a fun game. Maybe not being focused on the money aspect of it helped me gain more in the end. You can get rich in ROBLOX by getting your game on the front page, even if it’s only for one day.”

Citykid9303911 is the creator of Armored Ship Battle, a game that has been played over 4 million times. He’s built quite a fortune for himself on ROBLOX, not just through his game, but through exchanging collectible items as well. Here’s his advice.

“The best way to accumulate wealth is to create new, original, high-quality content that can either be directly sold, or capitalized on by selling special access to premium features. You have to know the community, what people want, and how much they’re willing to pay.”

“You can also get a lot of Robux investing in collectable items, especially with the new trading system. With a lot of patience, you can barter your way up from something that was relatively low in value, to something of high value. It’s all a series of trades that are worth a little more each time you make them.”

  4. Wish I could get Robux I just can’t get the “ball rolling” for me. I am not a great builder, nor scripter….Without that boost I can’t but limited items meaning no trading…I am technically in the hole. Does Roblox have a “Homeless Shelter” because I would be in it. Any suggestions?

    • Shedletsky is a moderator, that shouldn’t count. They are reaching out to the players, not the staff (they are the staff)

  6. The user who made Sandbox:REDALERT2 should be on this list cause his place has over 6 million visits!

    • Not forgetting SHADOWTHEHEDGEHOGXX, Although he isn’t the richest ROBLOXian, he had Two Million R$, and 4 Million tickets before he created the group FEAR.

  7. I think this list have great ideas for getting Robux and Tickets while having BC, i think someone should give info for getting rich as a NBC Robloxian while giving some info for being a BC Robloxian

    • Merely is rich, not because of Catalog heaven, but because he has every limited. Including the most expensive hat on ROBLOX. The Wood— Crown.

These can make you a wealthy robloxian but it is nearly impossible to make a popular game.That could be solved if there was an official roblox class which tought you scripts building and stuff required for games.Also NBC can not sell things.What if there was a nbc only genre in clothes so nbc people could sell stuff and not get too much since bc people couldn’t buy it.

  15. Merely is first, he’s probably a millionaire, knowing his popularity. Though many rich ROBLOXians are selfish, considering they don’t donate the tinniest amount of money.

    • I would just like to point out it doesn’t make you selfish to not want to donate. People aren’t obligated to share what they legitimately earned, and also people shouldn’t expect to be donated to.

    • That’s because they didn’t talk about the top three. TG101 is probably one of the three wealthiest users in ROBLOX.

  20. If d4rk886 MUST be the wealthiest user just from his game “Base Wars” i know this cause when i first was playing roblox, was in 2008 or 2009 even then d4rk886 was popular for Base Wars. I wont be surprised if d4rk8846 is the most weatlhiest person in Roblox.

  22. I did expect Merely to be there, But how did ROBLOX get there opinion? Cannot be messageing because famous people get 9k messages a day, I know hoodkid13. He has over 29,000 tickets… And more than 900,000 messages

    • My idea is mainly using the currency trade system, when the spread is low, change your robux into tix, when it is high, change all of them into robux.

      You can make over 60 robux in 2 steps, once I got over 100!

  35. I got a game on the front page a few years ago, and I got a lot of money of of it. It’s really true that even if your game is only popular for a day, you still get a lot of money.

    • He is a admin, so obviously he is going to be rich on ROBLOX, just like Builderman, ROBLOX, Brigheyes, Reesemcblox, ect, ect.

  42. Then you have SONIC with the Biggest Clan on ROBLOx and his 5 Star Hotel Game. He is super rich as well through many ways.

  43. TheGamer101 Is probably the last person there, because his SFT Is holding off the edge of the front page. I think it’s d4rk886, because his Base Wars have lived in front page VERY long.

    • I agree, TheGamer101 is starting to lose his visits slowly, and d4rk886′s Base Wars has been on the front page for ages. I’ve never actually played Base Wars, so I might take a look at it. Maybe I can find his secret. :3

  44. The limited item game is a another simple word if the waiting game. If you buy something that no one wants you”LL go broke. If you buy something everyone wants to get there hands on example: limited U swords people will spend loads of Robux for the rare item you have.

  49. Merely/seranok really is the richest player in roblox. You don’t see it but he has other accounts with items like sparkle time fedoras, SFOTHIV swords, other items worth like 500K+

      • So do I, except TBC and OBC ones of course. Pretty sure we are the only two who have achieved this. Including limiteds Merely is probably the richest because of his multiple accounts.

    • In that case I guess the last method is creating a popular group with a HQ that get visited a lot.

  54. Well the VIP is good, but there is one good type of VIP that will work.
    I played games with VIP and when I spawn I get special tools. So I think that will be a good advantage. Like the othere VIP door script in wiki, I think they need to add a spawn VIP script.

    Litozinnamon = Steve Jobs. Doesn’t do it for the money, but to provide great products.

    Crazyman32 = Bill Gates. Smart investor, makes sure he knows which deals are the right deals.

    CityKid = Warren Buffet. Terrific investor.

  58. Well, this should truly help! The problem lies when you can’t get enough robux. And when you can’t do that, it’s difficult to get those limited items in which you’ll later trade. I mean, I would LOVE some limiteds right now. Why? So that I could trade them for something GOOD!!! So, in order to do that, I need robux. Lots of it. So, DONATE TO MEH!!! >:3

  61. I’ve gotten a front page game before… It was BC, BC games get you 10x the tickets per visit. But stll most of my games are NBC.
