  4. I fell for this once. I was on my 2nd ban warning, and this was recently after ROBLOX added the no scamming rule. The user who stole my account made me break the no scamming rule and I got banned for 14 days. Thankfully, this actually opened an opportunity to get my account back. During the 14 days, I changed my password to something more secure. If your account gets banned for scamming, use that ban opportunity to make your account safe.

  6. Remember, think before you download. Spyware watches everything you do, it’s used by hackers OFF of Roblox. It’s best not to save your passwords to your computer. It also has control over your computer’s power, it can shut it down whenever it feels like it. There’s also backdoor trojans that allow hackers to use your computer while you are using it. You can’t see them moving your cursor, or deleting your stuff. Always use a trusted antivirus to protect yourself from harmful threats. DON’T USE SPYSHERIFF! It’s a well known fake antivirus that destroys your computer. REMEMBER, NOT ALL ANTIVIRUSES ARE REAL! Fake antiviruses sometimes show you fake threats. It’s not just players on Roblox, there are viruses that can hack you too.

  12. Is there a glitch? I’m verified but for the last couple days I haven’t been able to chat in games, Just Pms, Partys, and Chats. I can’t see usernames on the board in-game either. I think ROBLOX isn’t loading correctly or something but IDK.

    • If you cannot chat in a game it is because you must have set your age setting to under 13′s as only over 13′s can chat through the roblox chat bar in the game. If this didnt help please recomment and i will do the best to answer whatever questions you have. Thanks.

D: poor guy!} and some people have hacked my friends places to destroy stuff & get admin. Thanks for making this! I feel alot safer and I now have some tips! I might share them with my friends…..also, ROBLOX, if there is a hacker, maybe you guys should get a hacker that hacks hackers out of ROBLOX! Just an Idea…..

  21. WOW! Thanks ROBLOX! I am new (I’ve only been on here 2 days) and I thought this was really helpful. Especially that “We won’t ask for your password” part. It makes me feel more safe on ROBLOX.

    • Hey.. ROBLOX has no problem with backup accounts, as long as they’re not used for the sole purpose of breaking ROBLOX rules (spamming, harassing other users, etc.). If they’re obviously being used for this reason, they’ll probably be warned a couple times then terminated without question.

      Just be sure your backup account is living up to its name and is being used for.. well.. backup, and ou’ll be fine.

  29. If there’s a hacker on a game or server your on, leave the game. Hackers are known to hack and even access your account. If not, they wouldn’t be called “hackers”, right?

    • No one can hack your account. The only way your account can be stolen is when YOU give your e-mail OR roblox Password. People that says that they will hack you and you didn’t gave your password are just people that wanna scare you.

  32. When i first got into roblox and got free-chat, i got tricked into those fake-robux things where they tell you to spam,then go to a website,lucky and unlucky i got banned for spamming before they hacked my account.But i got banned for a week :(

Aww man I wish I readed this earlier Because last year when I had Tbc and it expired all my stuff I bought including a pinstripe fedora and most of rare stuff like Rainbow shades, then what happend was some girl ( No Names) actully bribed me to give me a Awesome Game Card But It was ivalid and when I logged into roblox I was dressed up as a girl with all my hats gone other then girl’y ones but luckily my packages where fine

  34. Ok, so this is our part of the deal. But roblox needs to make sure they have amazing security, because, with that popularity, its bound to get some idiots. Although what users do helps, it dosent completely cover users, as its hard to remember really long passwords that take billions of years to hack.

I was new once, like everyone, and made friends with people and I learned to never ever put anything related to your password in and if you make an alternate account use different passwords and keep them on your e-mail and do not give your e-mail out, when I had someone ask me my password if I got hacked I just told them “No thanks, you could be a hacker, even if your on my friend’s list I won’t trust you unless I know you offline and trust you offline” so don’t give them your password if you don’t know them offline or trust them offline, if they try to hack your account just change your password.

  62. There is a group called Hackers Division (HD) and when I played a game there were many HD members and one threatened to hack me if I didn’t leave. Everyone in Hackers Division should be banned.

    • just because you dont give away your password and username doesn’t mean that your secure, the web is filled with so many hacking programs that can get into your account. you can never be 100% secure, also if you friend is over make sure they dont look at your username or password. even though they are your friend doesn’t mean they dont have the guts to hack you.
