ROBLOX Android - Gameplay 3

ROBLOX Arrives on Android

ROBLOX Android - Gameplay 3You’ve been asking for it for months. We’ve been teasing it for weeks. Finally, after all the anticipation and waiting, ROBLOX has arrived on Android and you can get it now for free in the Google Play store! Hurray!

ROBLOX Mobile lets you explore the thousands of games created by builders and developers, trade messages with friends, customize your character, and more. When you play on Android, you even join the same games as your friends on Mac, PC, and iOS, so you can play anywhere, with everyone. While ROBLOX spreads even further across platforms, we’re making sure you and your friends always stay connected in the same virtual world.

Here’s a brief overview of the app’s features:

  • Play ROBLOX games
  • Purchase Android-exclusive items for your character (coming soon)
  • Customize your character appearance
  • Use Google Play Store gift cards to purchase Builders Club and ROBUX
  • Exchange messages and chat with friends
  • View leaderboards
  • View and interact with your groups

The Client, Mobile, and Web teams have been working diligently over the last few months to make ROBLOX on Android a reality — and a great mobile gaming experience. The app has the distinction of being one of the few games to be powered by user-created content. It also furthers the reach of ROBLOX’s community of builders and game developers, who can now open their creations to players on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices by publishing them to ROBLOX.

We’re really excited about finally getting ROBLOX into the hands of Android users. Please try it out today and let us know your feedback. ROBLOX for Android is available now in the U.S. and Canadian Google Play stores and will be out globally (135 countries!) by Thursday morning in Google Play stores worldwide.

And if you’re not an Android user, ROBLOX Mobile is also available in the iTunes App Store for iPad 2+, iPhone 4+, and iPod touch 5G+.

    Well, there are some problems:
-the guns, salute tool, atvease tools that usually works on pc doesn’t work properly on mobile
-the chat is a bit annoying sometimes when i want to type it wont work and it dissapear sudently
-there is no leaderboard (player list)
-if for example at Panzer lehr villers-Bocage place you wanna try to pick up a weapon, the gui is too down. Usually on pc its ok and its in the middlenof the screen
    – the controls wont work on vehicles properly, walking also os hard.

I, Brunoclement2000 thank you dear staff member if you used a bit of your time that is very precious and looked at my comment. I would like that this buggs gonna be fixed as soon as possible. Oberstleutnant ( leutnant colonel) Bruno from Panzer Lehr Division

The salute tool is a player made tool. Not roblox. So is alot of other tools. Also on certain devices you can see player lists and stuff. But roblox is working on fixing all that stuff.

I know almost nothing about tablets, so may I ask, are Hudls Androids? If so, my sister can play ROBLOX with me :D

Technically it runs on the Kindle Fire, since a Kindle Fire is an Andriod device. The problem is that Amazon makes i really hard to use App stores other than their own. On my Kindle Fire HD I had installed the Google Play store through some hacky processes.

You made it for Android Linux, but why can’t you make it for UNIX (Ubuntu) Linux? Also, I smashed my Desire Z for it not working and now is waiting for my S4 so I can play :3

YAY! Its here. But… I am getting a problem that says storage is unavailable. Is that a problem with my phone or a ROBLOX glitch?

You have a playerbase waiting over at Linux. Don’t be shy, other devs and games have come over here.

Cool, now may you make decent mobile versions? Controls are in bad positions, the direction pad should be fixed, there is no decent menu, no options to use Backspace or any other key… Games should have a tag “mobile friendly”, cause I’m tired of trying cool games on iOS and get disappointed.
