Congratulations go out to Poker_Man29, the first player to achieve 10,000 knockouts. This was accomplished while maintaining close to a 2:1 ratio of KOs/WOs.

In recognition of this feat, we are gifting Poker_Man29 with the first Black Iron Crown of Pwnage.

The Roblox Team intends to roll out a new collection of badges for people who have attained either an insane number of KOs, or an insane number of visits. We’d also like to be able to give exclusive hats to people who earn the tough-to-get badges. This stuff is still in deep alpha, so don’t expect it to happen tomorrow.

Once we can easily grant items to badge winners, we will create a master-level combat badge that awards Black Iron Crowns of Pwnage. We will also create something similar for master-level builders. Until then, Poker_Man29 has the only one! GG.

We introduced currency into our game about 80 days ago. Since then, more than 1.47M ROBUX have been earned by players. This figure does not include admins and most of this money was earned via place visits.

There are currently 741,990 ROBUX in circulation.

217,421 R$ have been earned in the past week.

151,448 R$ have been spent in the past week.

The top 20 Roblox tycoons control 191,627 RO$, or 25.8% of the money supply.

853 Robloxians have more than 100 RO$.

The results are in from the Roblox 1st International Humorous Video Contest! The judges picked three very funny movies:

1st place: “Roblox Gone Crazy” by JJ5×5

Congratulations on winning R$1000 and a custom hat! We hope that singling you out in our previous post did not influence the judges. Message clockwork with your hat request.

2nd place: “Roblox Randomness” by NintendoBoy

He wins R$500. Nicely done! We especially liked the bald people party.

3rd place: “When N00bs Fly” by JustinP231

He wins R$250 for his video of catapulting Robloxians!

Videos will be ranked in order of the number of votes they receive and the winners will be announced on Wednesday.

Great news! Yesterday a user named StickArena became our 40,000th account. We’ve granted him a small bonus of 400 R$.

Here’s an interesting fact:

If Robloxia were a real country, we would rank 211th in population out of 238 countries that appear in the CIA World Factbook. Not bad for an online game. Once we have a million players, we will be ranked 159.
