Buy Tickets Online and Avoid the Lines at RGC 2012

Can you produce under the pressure of limited time? If so, we invite you to bring your laptop to ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 and join us for a continuous, all-day Hackathon.

The ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 Hackathon will let attendees take a break from the festivities and enjoy a session of ROBLOX creation. Every 20 or so minutes, a ROBLOX developer will unveil a new puzzle, challenging users to complete it in a given period of time.

Tech Note: Scripted tools and weapons

Dagger of Shattered DimensionsOur head gear programmer Deepak Chandrasekaran explains the steps that went into creating The Dagger of Shattered Dimensions.

The ROBLOX creative team meets regularly to plan new items for publication in the Catalog. Recently they were inspired to create an Arabian Nights collection which included a Flying Magic Carpet, Arabian Knight Scimitar, Magic Lamp, Desert King hat, and the technically advanced Dagger of Shattered Dimensions. Once ideas have been selected, our team of 3D artists creates the item and hat models using Maya, Blender and 3DS Max.  The models are then delivered to the gear programmers.
