Over the past few weeks, we have shown the ROBLOX community various character explorations that include new head, body, arm and hand shapes for both male and female characters. Last month, ROBLOX released a preview of potential body, head and face components for new ROBLOX characters. Today, we will show you the 3D renderings of heads, bodies, arms and hands that we have been exploring. Because we want to know what our users think, we have included a survey below the photos, where you can indicate what you like.
Phishing has been a problem since the inception of the internet, and in 1995 the term was first coined in a README doc for a popular hacking tool targeting AOL users. Recently, ROBLOX has seen an increase in phishing sites, and we wanted to communicate how we approach these sites. Phishing is a common method of online identity theft, and in our continued effort to make ROBLOX as safe as possible, we will be taking serious measures to ensure the security of our players. ROBLOX will press charges and utilize law enforcement to take down any phishing sites that threaten our site’s security.
We have been exploring various styles for ROBLOX document icons. All of the mockups are conceptual, and we would like your feedback. When giving feedback, please refer to the row and column, as in “The icon in the first row, third column is my favorite”.

We have been exploring new body, head and face components for ROBLOX characters. All of the mockups in this post are conceptual. We invite your feedback on everything here. When giving feedback, please refer to the sketch and image ID, as in “I like Male Bodies-A, #2”.
Two years ago, ROBLOX started the Ambassador Program, which was designed to encourage players to spread the word about ROBLOX. In the program, users would take HTML code (specific to that player), and then post those links on other active websites. Users were rewarded with 2 tix per day per active link. We believed we could get users involved with promoting our game.

With GDC looming right around the corner, we decided to give you some insight as to what we’re planning. This year will be the first time that we have a booth at the conference, and we are excited to increase our presence at the world’s longest running game industry event.
