Last week, we kicked off a Virtual BLOXcon Game Contest, giving you the opportunity to have your BLOXcon-themed game featured at the big event on Saturday, September 21st. We know making a game and building a place are both time-consuming processes, so take this as a friendly reminder that the contest deadline is nine days away (technically, Sunday, September 8th at 11:59 p.m. PT).
In case you missed the news last week, here’s how the contest works.
You create a BLOXcon-themed game or place, then create a short (less than 60 seconds) video showcasing your work and submit the video on this page. There will be a crowd-voting period starting on September 3rd, but ROBLOX staff will ultimately determine which games and places are worthy of being featured as part of the Virtual BLOXcon. Winners will not only attract a bunch of visits (from staff and Virtual BLOXcon attendees alike), but also take home a virtual item.
Let your imagination run wild — just tie BLOXcon into your entry. We’ve received several entries that are nice, but not BLOXcon-themed. Unfortunately, they are not valid.
Again, the submission deadline is Sunday, September 8th at 11:59 p.m. PT. Take your time, make a good-quality game or place, and submit a decent video. If you’ve already entered, keep building upon and improving your foundation. The quality of your game is of utmost importance — we really want to drive players to fun destinations.
